Linda Whitcome

Linda D. Whitcome, 51, of Chippewa Falls, died Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer.

She was born March 12, 1959 in Chippewa Falls to Darlene (Searles) and Robert Eberhardt.

She grew up in Chippewa Falls and graduated from Chippewa Falls High School in 1977. She attended college for nursing and worked as a nursing assistant for a time. She then worked for Cray Research in Chippewa Falls, before she began working for Kmart in Chippewa Falls, helping to open the store in 1989. Linda worked there since that time.
