Lisa Moelter

Lisa (Simmerman) Moelter, went back to her soul life on the 13th of October at the age of 53. She is now watching over us as she enjoys her external life in Heaven with God.

Lisa grew up in the township of Cleveland, WI, where she enjoyed the outdoors by hunting, riding motorcycle, and water-skiing. She earned her Registered Nursing degree and enjoyed working with children with cancer. Lisa obtained her certification in Pediatric Nursing and Pediatric Chemo Therapy. She truly loved her celebrated career in nursing, which included 25 years at Mayo Clinic Heath System.

Lisa enjoyed a number of hobbies that filled her soul including, gardening, decorating, photography, antiquing, and writing and sharing her creations with all. “It’s been a good ride. Enjoy this life and help others. Find joy in the little things and give/receive love.”

Lisa is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Jeffrey; father, Art (Peggy) Simmerman; daughter, Alyse (Jeff) Larson; son, Nick (Emily) Moelter. Lisa also had four grandchildren she adored, Jase Robert, Ava Marie, Korra Alice and Josephine Anne; siblings, Becky (Paul) Frenette and Ivan (Heather) Simmerman; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Simmerman; and grandparents, Ivan & Margaret Simmerman and Vincent & Mary Petrazates.

A celebration of life will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2017, at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, 44 E. Columbia Street, Chippewa Falls, with a Nightingale Tribute led by Lisa’s nursing colleagues at 6:45, followed by a private family prayer service. Pastor Wade Duroe will be officiating. Interment will be in Prairie View Cemetery, Village of Lake Hallie, at a later date.
