Lois M. McIlquham, age 86 of Anson, WI, Chippewa County, died peacefully on Sunday, December 13, 2015, at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

On July 19, 1929, Lois was born to Harold and Helen (Brainerd) Siddons in Cornell, WI. She graduated with the class of 1946. Lois married Earl McIlquham on October 11, 1950 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Chippewa Falls. Lois loved her Lord and lived her Faith every day, bringing many to know Him.

A multi-talented woman that was soft spoken, gentle and caring. Lois showed her love in many ways, some of which were baking bread and rolls, sewing, cooking, praying for and encouraging her family. She enjoyed flowers, reading, learning, and spending time with her grandchildren, children, siblings and friends. Lois was a longtime member and was actively serving the Anson United Methodist Church as the Treasurer and led a prayer group. She always kept the home fire burning for the love of her life, Earl.

Lois is survived by her husband of 65 years, Earl; children, Lee (Jean) of Chippewa Falls, Glen (Pam) of Eau Claire, Ann (Dan) Crogg of Cadott and Brent (Shirley) of Chippewa Falls; grandchildren, Lisa (Fianc Nathan Forster) McIlquham, Russell (Mary) McIlquham, Denise (Seth) Eder, Christopher (Marissa) McIlquham, Amy McIlquham, Darla (Josh Przybylski) Crogg, Brian (Melissa) Crogg, Charlene (Brandon) Colvin, Molly McIlquham and Beth McIlquham; great-grandchildren, Weston, Wyatt and Wayde Crogg, Ben and Lucy McIlquham, Bianca Eder, and Carter McIlquham; step-grandson, Ryan Weisiple; siblings, Dolores (Felix) Larson, Mary Lou Rogge, Lloyd (Loris) Siddons, Carolyn Meinen, Connie Kinderman, Beverly (Albert) Rogge, Larry (Jackie) Siddons, and Dale "Tom" (Judy) Siddons; sisters-in-law, Barb Siddons, Ruth Robinson and Helen (Jim) Anoich; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jack Siddons; brothers-in-law, Clifford Frederick, Jerome Rogge, Richard Kinderman, Roger Meinen, Stanley McIlquham and Bud Normand; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Normand and Lois (Stanley) McIlquham.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, 44 E. Columbia Street, Chippewa Falls. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at Trinity United Methodist, 201 W. Central St., Chippewa Falls WI, with a visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Pastor Jason Kim will be officiating. Interment will be in Copp Cemetery, Town of Anson, Chippewa County.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family that will later be donated to a charity.
