Lois J. McIlquham, 85, of Chippewa Falls, formerly of the town of Anson, died Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Colfax Nursing Home under the care of St. Josephs Hospice.

She was born June 19, 1927 in Chippewa Falls to Nina (Lauer) and Otto Berg.

Lois married Stanley McIlquham on August 18, 1945 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Chippewa Falls. They resided in the town of Anson, where they owned a dairy farm.

She was a member of Anson United Methodist Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Verna McIlquham of Elk Mound, Linda (Greg) Sweeney of Afton, MN, Laura (Charles) Boos of Eau Claire, Mary (Mark) Benson of Eau Claire; a son, Dale (Lori) McIlquham of Jim Falls; a brother, Eugene Berg of Chippewa Falls; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Doris Berg; and her husband Stanley on December 13, 2010.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 22 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls with Rev. Steve Scott of Anson United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Copp Cemetery, town of Anson.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Sunday, April 21 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel and one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated and may be designated to Anson United Methodist Church.

AFTERSERVICE

A funeral service for Lois J. McIlquham, 85, of Chippewa Falls, was held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 22 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls. The Rev. Steve Scott of Anson United Methodist Church officiated and music was provided by organist Marilyn Brace and vocalists, Deb Dresel and Tammy Duss. Interment followed at Copp Cemetery, town of Anson. Casket bearers were Scott Sweeney, Brent, Patrick and Jacob Mueller, Logan and Lucas Roshell and Greg Saxton-Jensen.
