Loiselle, Dolores

Dolores R.Loiselle, 87, of 1133 Water St., Chippewa Falls, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Comforts of Home in Chippewa Falls.

She was born March 23, 1924 in Chippewa Falls to Eva (Lundberg) and Bernard Durch. She graduated from McDonell Memorial High School in 1941.

Dolores married Robert E. Loiselle on July 3, 1945 at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Chippewa Falls. Dolores and her husband of 66 years resided in Chippewa Falls since the time of their marriage.

She was employed at the Mason Shoe Factory Office for several years.

She was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church and Chippewa Falls Catholic Women's Club.

Survivors include: her husband, Bob; a daughter, Judith (James) Rubenzer of Hammond, Wis.; a son, Charles "Chuck" (Kathy) Loiselle of Atlanta, Ga.; three grandchildren, Brent (Allyson) Loiselle, Eric Loiselle, Candy Loiselle (Tony) Lucas; five great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Hayley, Erica, Samantha and Catalina Loiselle.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; four sisters, Bernice Mason, Mary Sydejko, Barbara Cook, Eloise Durch and one brother, Leonard Durch.

Dolores loved to play Bridge and was a member of several Bridge Clubs. She also loved crossword puzzles, sewing, cooking and golfing with her husband and friends at Ojibwa Golf Club and the Elks Country Club.

A private family service was held at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls on Thursday, October 6. Interment was in the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner on Friday.
