Lori L. Spath, 42, of Chippewa Falls, died Saturday, May 4 at Wissota Health, surrounded by her loving family and while under the care of St. Joseph's Hospice.

She was born August 12, 1970 in Chippewa Falls to Kathryn (Miles) and Bernard Spath. She graduated from Chi-Hi in 1988. Following high school, she became a CNA and worked at Dove Healthcare and Wissota Lakeside.

Lori loved her family dearly and over the years, took many in need under her wing. She had a big, generous heart and will never be forgotten.

She will be dearly missed by her four sons, Mike (Teresa) Weiland of Cadott, Matthew "Butch" Weiland, Jacob and Josh Mallo, all of Eau Claire; her parents, Kathryn and Bernard Spath of Cadott; her biological father, John Zillyette; a sister, Nicole Spath; two brothers, John (Shelly) Spath, Chuck (Sadie) Spath, all of Cadott; four grandchildren; best friend and father of her two youngest boys, Scott (Laura) Mallo of Eau Claire; special cousin, caregiver and friend, Angel Anderson; close friend, Tammy "TT" Schimmel; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Spath; and her grandparents, Norman and Geneva Spath.

A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, May 9 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls with the Rev. Cheri Miskimen, of Chapel Heights United Methodist Church, Eau Claire, officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral chapel.
