Louis I. Biddle, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire Wisconsin.

He was born February 22, 1929 in Thorp Wisconsin to Charles and Lena (Hendricks) Biddle.

He married Victoria Kaleta on October 15, 1949 in Thorp Wisconsin. Louis served in the US Navy during World War II on the USS Shangri La. He moved to Rolling Ground Wisconsin where he worked at Golden Glow Cheese Factory and won the World Championship Cheese Maker Award in 1966. He also won many other county, state and national awards.

He was remarried to Georgia Ann Kelley on December 9, 1995 in Lancaster, Wisconsin.

He is survived by his wife Georgia Ann Kelley-Biddle of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin; his sister Grace (Biddle) Welzien of Loyal, Wisconsin; children: Linda Biddle (Bob Faust), Lynn Vial (Steve Brindley) of Boscobel, Wisconsin, Brenda (Timothy) Krueger of Janesville, Wisconsin, Robert (Sue) Biddle of East Dubuque, Illinois, Kelly (Lyle) Goettl of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, Roberta (Mark) Schley of Cornell, Wisconsin, James (Sharon) Halmstad of Taos, New Mexico; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Lena (Hendricks) Biddle; first wife Victoria (Kaleta) Biddle; brother Lee Biddle; and brother in law Al Welzein.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, December 13 at the Chapel of the Resurrection at the Chippewa Manor, 222 Chapman Rd., Chippewa Falls with Fr. Robert Hoekstra officiating. Interment will be at Boscobel Cemetery in Boscobel, Wisconsin.
