Margaret C. "Marge" Moran, 81, of Chippewa Falls, died June 18, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

She was born July 8, 1932 in Grand Forks, ND to Margaret (Binder) and Frederick Hayes. She grew up in Minneapolis where she graduated from high school.

On September 6, 1952, Marge married Patrick Moran in Minneapolis, MN. They moved to Chippewa Falls in 1962 and were later divorced. Marge worked for many years as the school secretary at St. Charles. She then worked as a librarian at the Chippewa Falls Public Library until her retirement.

Marge was an avid reader and also enjoyed baking and crafts. She was an expert seamstress and made most of her own clothing. She loved putting puzzles together and spent hours doing so.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen C. (Steve) Bergeman of Chippewa Falls; three sons, Kelly S. of Chippewa Falls, Tracy S. (Shan) of Waupaca, Bradley S. (Pamela) of Chippewa Falls; a daughter-in-law, Jean Moran; a sister, Elizabeth McMullen of Baldwin; two brothers, Fredrick (Eleanor) Hayes of Detroit Lakes, MN, James Hayes of Oregon; grandchildren, Bradley D. Moran of TX, Shannon L. (Scott) Psak, Kaitlyn M. Moran all of Eau Claire, Sherry L. Moran of Mississippi, Stacy L. Carotenuto, Jessica J. Moran, Markel J. Moran, McKenna A. Moran, Shawn P. Moran, Taylor F. Moran and Kassandra H. Moran, all of Chippewa Falls; numerous great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Michael P. Moran; sister, Jacqueline Wyman; brother-in-law, Mike McMullen and nephew, Duane Wyman.

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m., Monday, June 23 at Central Lutheran Church, Chippewa Falls with the Rev. Aaron Sturgis officiating.

Visitation will be held from 4:30 p.m. until the time of service Monday at the church.

AFTERSERVICE

A memorial service for Margaret C. Moran, 81, of Chippewa Falls was held at 6:30 p.m., Monday, June 23 at Central Lutheran Church, Chippewa Falls. The Rev. Aaron Sturgis officiated, music was provided by organist, Christine Hitt and vocalists were daughter-in-law, Pam Moran and granddaughter, Markel Moran.
