Marilyn F. Lee, 87, of Chippewa Falls, died Sunday, November 22, 2015 at the Chippewa Manor.
She was born September 12, 1928 in Eagle Point to Therese (Koepke) and Murray Kelly. Marilyn graduated from Chi Hi with her husband-to-be, Jerome, in 1946. They married three years later, on May 28, 1949 at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Marilyn lived her life in the Chippewa Falls area. In childhood her life was spent on the Kelly farm in Eagle Point surrounded by the love and affection of her parents, siblings, cousins, and friends. Marriage and motherhood took her to the south side of town. Here her greatest joy was raising a family of five and welcoming numerous grandchildren. These children and her husband, Lefty, grew up on homemade bread, cookies, & pies. As life grew quieter, she spent many hours at Lefty's side in peaceful solitude. Marilyn lived a life of love and happiness and she will be missed.
The family expresses their appreciation for the compassionate care given to both Marilyn and Lefty at the Chippewa Manor.
Survivors include her children, Dan (Susan) of Reno, NV, Mary (Larry) Wiltrout of Chippewa Falls, Tom (Helen) Lee of Lancaster, CA, Terri (Jim) Nyman of Black River Falls, and Steve (Cindy) Lee of Chippewa Falls; sister, Margie Bjork of Chippewa Falls; brothers, Lee (Viola) Kelly and Lyle (Jackie) Kelly, both of Chippewa Falls; grandchildren, Tracy (Josh) Davis, Jerome (Tori) Lee, Ryan (Tracy) Wiltrout, Jessica (Jon) Joles, Jameson (Kelly) Wiltrout, Torrey Nyman, Andrew (Laura) Nyman, Steven (Shelly) Nyman, Benjamin and Michael Lee, and Rachel Mayes; great-grandchildren, Emmett, Soren, Christopher, Kesinee, Kayla, Jaydin, Jerney, Joseph, Colton, Vincent, Tyler, Hope, Katelyn, Hannah, Ellianna, Hailey and Vanessa; brother-in-law, Julius "Pinky" (Jackie) Lee; sisters-in-law, Ima Lee and Ardis Kelly; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerome "Lefty; sister, Lois (Bruce) Barnum; and brother, Keith Kelly.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, November 30 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Chippewa Falls with Rev. Terri Koca officiating. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.Monday at the church.
