Marjorie "Marge" Belden, 94, formerly of Chippewa Falls, died Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Our House Memory Care, Eau Claire.

Marge was born April 26, 1917, in LeSueur, Minnesota, to Fred and

Eunice (Warner) Bosacker. She married Charles "Chuck" Belden on January 13, 1942, in Canton, Missouri.

Marjorie had a long career in the hotel business beginning with the Hotel Faribault in Faribault, MN; followed by the St. James Hotel in Red Wing, MN; and the Pere Marquette in Peoria, IL. After WWII, she and Chuck returned to Red Wing and Marge returned to the St. James. In 1961, they moved to Menomonie, WI, where they owned and operated the Marion Hotel until 1981. They then moved to Chippewa Falls where they were resident managers of the Northern Apartments until 1995.

Marge was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck; son Jim; sisters,Thelma Bosacker, Marion Sutter, Daphne Olson, Olive Schuller, and brother, Kenneth Bosacker.

Survivors include sons, Mike (Linda) Belden of Menomonie, Tom (Jackie Guthrie) Belden of Casa Grande, Arizona; daughters, Julie (Mark) Wood of Stevens Point, Jeanne (Guy) Brown of Eau Claire; grandchildren, Eric Belden, Jessica (Brian) Bertrang, Ryan Wood (Phil Tauchen), Alex Wood, Dylan Wood, Sarah Wood, Samantha Teller, Jaxon Brown, Charley Belden; and great-grandchildren, Madalyn and Maxwill Bertrang. She is further survived by her sisters, Inez Fluke and Hazel Neumann, and a brother Fred "Fritz" Bosacker.

A private service will be held with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.
