Marjorie E. Schwetz, 90, of Chippewa Falls, town of Anson, died Monday, September 10, 2012 at Wissota Health & Regional Vent Center in Chippewa Falls.
She was born November 8, 1921 in Superior to Hazel (Ewer) and Harvey Bainter. She was raised in the Lake Holcombe area.
Marjorie married Walter J. Schwetz on April 10, 1943 in Cadott. They resided in Jim Falls until moving to California in 1957 and then returned to the Jim Falls area.
Marge, or "Sis" as her family called her, was a beautiful person inside and out. She adored her husband and was so very proud of her children and grandchildren. She cherished her home and especially enjoyed working in her flower garden. She was always quick to share a bouquet of fresh cut flowers with a neighbor or anyone that visited her.
Survivors include a son Walter "Wally" (Anita) Schwetz; a daughter, Victoria "Vicky" (Rodney) DeBruin, all of Cadott; three sisters, Gerri Bainter of Eau Claire, Shirley (Bob) Parker of Ladysmith, Patricia (Ronald) Hetchler of Friendship; six grandchildren, Ronna Hosig, Clint Swoboda, Guy Schwetz; Eric (Dawn) Schwetz, Rick (Tottie) Bauer, Shawna (Curt) Anderson; twelve great-grandchildren, Donna, Hunter, Caitlyn, Randi, Kalia, Jarin, Payton, Michael, Danielle, Bethany, Casey and Parker; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walt on May 26, 2010; a daughter, Connie Swoboda; a sister, Charlotte Rollins; and four brothers, Mike, Bob, Delmar and Larry Bainter.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Friday, September 14 at Chippewa Valley Bible Church in Chippewa Falls with Keith Tompkins officiating.
Friends may call one half hour prior to the service at the church. At Marjorie's request, there will be no viewing.
AFTERSERVICE:
A memorial service for Marjorie E. Schwetz, 90, of Chippewa Falls, town of Anson, was held at 4 p.m., Friday, September 14, at Chippewa Valley Bible Church in Chippewa Falls. Keith Tompkins officiated and music was provided by Jodi Jewell. Marjorie's daughter-in-law, Anita Schwetz shared personal reflections.
