Mary DeLong

She was born April 4, 1946 in Eau Claire to Caroline (Schulner) and Lyle Fouser. She graduated from Memorial High School in 1964.

Mary married Norman DeLong on March 10, 1979. During her marriage, she felt fortunate to be able to stay home to raise her children. One of her greatest joys of her life was being able to help raise and mentor her two oldest grandchildren while raising her own children.

After the children were grown, she and Norman moved to Chetek and enjoyed life living on the lake. While in Chetek, she worked as an aide at Dallas Nursing Home. The couple returned to Chippewa Falls and she went to work at Wolter Chiropractic and Caron Carpets. Norman preceded her in death on April 17, 2001.
