Mary McBride

Mary E. McBride, 60, of Chippewa Falls, died Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Our House Assisted Living, 115 Marrs St., Chippewa Falls.

She was born May 4, 1950 in Monmouth, Ill. to Shirley (Yoder) and Donald Hunt. She was raised in Monmouth where she attended school.

Mary married George S. McBride on June 6, 1970 in Monmouth. They resided in Calif. until 1986 when they moved to Kentucky where they resided until moving to Cornell in 1994. After the death of her husband on Sept. 2, 2000 she returned to Monmouth until moving to Chippewa Falls in Aug. 2009 to make her home with her daughter.

She is survived by: one daughter, Tina (Daniel) Bohman of Chippewa Falls; one son, Bill McBride of Middletown, Ohio; her father, Donald Hunt of Monmouth; five sisters, Diane, Lori, Vickie, Debbie and Dawn; four brothers, Delbert, Ricky, Donny and Danny all of Ill.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, George on Sept. 2, 2000 and her mother.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 23 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel in Chippewa Falls with Rev. Fr. Robert Hoekstra of the Chippewa Manor Retirement Community officiating. Interment will be in Monmouth, Ill.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral chapel.
