Maxine G. Hager, 82, of Chippewa Falls, died Friday, December 26, 2014 at Wissota Health & Regional Vent Center, Chippewa Falls.

She was born October 22, 1932 in Eau Claire to Mayme (Mortenson) and George Hermanson. While attending high school, Maxine worked as a waitress at Woolworth's.

On June 9, 1951, Maxine married Robert Hager at Epiphany Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. After their marriage they farmed in the town of Seymour, where Maxine kept their home and raised their four children.

Maxine enjoyed traveling, dancing, playing bingo, cards and games, and going to the casino. She and Robert enjoyed many winters in Arizona. Maxine also loved her family dearly, she cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Julie Engel, Richard (Rebecca) Hager, Kimberly (Harlan) LeaVesseur, Timothy (Rebecca) Hager, all of Chippewa Falls; a sister, Joan Meyers of CA; grandchildren, Minda (Carolyn), Andrea , Andrew (Brianna) and Matthew Engel, Jason (Donnel), Jonathan (Jennifer), Nicole Hager, Tiffani (Troy) Schulte, Sarah, Cassandra (fianc, Fred Ramp) and Hannah LeaVesseur, Alexander, Rachel and Michael Hager; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Rachel, Josh, Erin, Elizabeth, Kyra and Nolan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bob on September 14, 2006; sister, Charlotte Meyers; and a brother, LeRoy Hermanson.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 30 at Faith Lutheran Church, Chippewa Falls with Rev. William Plautz officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie View Cemetery, village of Lake Hallie.

Visitation will be held from 4 -7 p.m., Monday at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church.

AFTERSERVICE

A funeral service for Maxine G. Hager, 82, of Chippewa Falls, was held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 30 at Faith Lutheran Church, Chippewa Falls. The Rev. William Plautz officiated, music was provided by organist, Barbara Sandford and vocalist, Beth Martinek. The eulogy was given by daughter Kim LeaVesseur. Interment was at Prairie View Cemetery, village of Lake Hallie. Casket bearers were Jason, John and Alex Hager, Andrew and Matt Engel and Fred Ramp.
