Tony A. Jackson

Tony A. Jackson, 71, of Eau Claire, died peacefully at Rolling Meadows in Strum, WI, on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.

On July 15, 1953, Tony was born in Sutter, CA, to Maynard & Leda (Divine) Jackson. He grew up in Parsons, KA, later moving to Ontario, CA, where he graduated with the class of 1971. Tony enjoyed a good movie and watching TV shows. He enjoyed sewing, going to museums and road trips, he was a talented artist, doing both paintings and drawings. Tony also liked to cook where he worked at Connell’s at the Airport for 3 years then for Old Country Buffet for 13 years.

Tony is survived by his children, Charmaine Jackson, Misty Jackson, Christopher (Brittanie) O’Neal, and Kendall (Joseph) O’Neal; life partner, Jeannie O’Neal; brothers, Edgar (Grace) Jackson and William (Renee) Bond; stepchildren, Cynthia Junken, Angela (Chad) Omtvedt and Colleen O’Neal; 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lola “Peachie” Jackson and Roberta White; and brother, Wayne Bond.

The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 16, 2024, at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, 44 E. Columbia St., Chippewa Falls, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Josh Van Gorkum will be officiating.
