Michael J. "Budda" Adrian, 65, of Chippewa Falls, died Friday, November 30, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Mike was born December 28, 1946 in Chippewa County to Christan (Plonty) and Albert "Pat" Adrian. He was a graduate of Chippewa Falls High School.

Mike lived in Barnes, WI for many years, before returning to Chippewa Falls. He worked in the microfilm dept. for Chippewa County for 19 years, until his retirement in 2005.

On May 22, 2004, Mike married the love of his life, Karen Hicks. They resided in the town of Eagle Point since their marriage.

Mike had a love for the outdoors. He enjoyed every kind of hunting and every type of fishing. He had hunting spots all over the area and had many hunting buddies.

Survivors include his wife, Karen; six siblings, Jean (Bill) LaRue of Holcombe, Patsy (Ron) Turany of Mission, TX, Pat (Pam) Adrian of Malvern, AR, Kathleen (Mickey) Mayer of Chippewa Falls, Linda Turek of Vadnais Heights, MN, and George (Judy) Adrian of Chippewa Falls; special friend and hunting buddy, Jake Briggs of Chippewa Falls; his canine companion, Smoke; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives; and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 6 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls with Rev. Robert Hoekstra, chaplain of the Chippewa Manor, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, December 5 and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral chapel.

AFTERSERVICE

A funeral service for Michael J. "Budda" Adrian, 65, of Eagle Point was held at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls. The Rev. Robert Hoekstra, chaplain of the Chippewa Manor officiated. Personal reflections were shared by brother, George Adrian, cousin, Rich Sykora and brother-in-law, Bill LaRue.

Interment was in Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls. Casket bearers were Jake Briggs, Larry Barsamian, Gordy Crosby, Wayne Bollom, Rich Sykora and Bill Howe. Honorary casket bearers were Murray Heidtke, Willie Schmidt, Chuck Wendt, Denny Zwiefelhofer, Denny St. Aubin, Mikey Foat and Rick Badman.
