Michael C. Olson

Michael C. Olson, 67, of Chippewa Falls, passed away Friday, July 12, 2024, with family by his side at Mayo Clinic Health System – Eau Claire.

On April 6, 1957, Mike was born to Donald & Barbara (Ruppin) Olson, in West Allis, WI. He graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran High School with the class of 1975. On October 2, 1982, he married Annette (Mueller) at Jordan Lutheran Church, West Allis, WI.

Mike worked as a food broker helping manufacturers get their products in grocery stores. He felt blessed when his dream of living on a lake came true. He loved boating, water and snow skiing (in his younger years), golfing, bowling and hanging out with friends and family. He was gifted with a quick wit and sense of humor that made him the life of a party. Mike believed strongly in his Lord and Savior and will be missed by all who knew him.

Mike is survived by his wife of 41 years, Annette; sisters, Pamela (John) Walther and Tamara Jeske; nephews, Philip and Peter Walther; niece, Elisabeth Walther; along with many in-laws, other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Barbara Olson.

The memorial service will be at 12 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Our Hope Lutheran Church, 240 Chapman Rd., Chippewa Falls, with a visitation beginning at 10 a.m. at the church. Rev. Philip Pitt will be officiating. The interment will be in Arlington Park Cemetery, Milwaukee, WI, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Cornerstone Lutheran High School, Chippewa Falls.
