Michael W. Ziebarth, 65, of Chippewa Falls, village of Lake Hallie, died Monday, March 4, 2013 at his residence.

He was born November 28, 1947 in Chippewa County to Dorothea (Kempton) and Walter Ziebarth. He graduated from Chippewa Falls High School in 1966 and enlisted in the US Navy Reserves.

On October 26, 1968, Mike married Coila Rowan at Zion Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls. They resided in Chippewa Falls since their marriage.

He worked as plant supervisor for Amoco Foam Products in Chippewa Falls for 25 years. He then owned and operated Full Circle Plastic in Cornell, recycling plastic. He retired when he was diagnosed with MS.

Mike's favorite pastimes were his Ham Radio, call sign WD9FKS, riding his motorcycle, spending time with his family and playing checkers with his grandchildren on the computer. He also played lead guitar in the Marquees Band, playing mostly at weddings.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Coila; a daughter, Kristina (Craig) Lyberg of Chippewa Falls, two sons, Michael Jr. (Judy) Ziebarth of Newport, NC, Scott (Amanda) Ziebarth of Chippewa Falls; a sister, Mary (Richard) Greening of Chanhassen; five grandchildren, Kyril, Ben and Alex Ziebarth, Tyler and Grant Lyberg; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Shelley Lynn in infancy.

A funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, March 8 at Zion Lutheran Church, Chippewa Falls with Rev. T .Clinton Stark officiating. Spring interment will be in Prairie View Cemetery, village of Lake Hallie.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, March 7 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel and one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Michael's honor may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church.

AFTERSERVICE:

A funeral service for Michael W. Ziebarth, 65, of the village of Lake Hallie was held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 8 at Zion Lutheran Church, Chippewa Falls. The Rev. T. Clinton Stark officiated and music was provided by Marilyn Brace. Casket bearers were Michael Jr., Scott, and Kyril Ziebarth, Craig and Kristina Lyberg, John and Rick Greening. Spring interment will be in Prairie View Cemetery, village of Lake Hallie.
