Nancy D. Redard, 78, of Chippewa Falls, died peacefully at her home on Friday, February 3, 2017, under the Care of St. Joseph's Hospice. She was born to Joseph and Elmyra (Bowe) Rubenzer in Eau Claire, on December 23, 1938.

Nancy married Charles Anderl on February 11, 1956 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Chippewa Falls. Through this marriage, they had six children. In 1982, she was united in marriage to David Redard in Chippewa Falls, where they shared many wonderful years together.

In 1971, she became the first female dispatcher for Chippewa Falls Police Department. She later worked as the Sheriffs Secretary for Chippewa County until her retirement in 1995. Nancy was a member of the Jaycettes and Altar Society of St. Charles. She enjoyed the years she mentored children for the Chippewa Falls School District.

Nancy was very wise and knowledgeable person with a unique sense of warmth. Nancy had a bright aura that drew people to her, leaving them feeling better to have known her. She had a great sense of humor and quick wit that always left everyone laughing. Nancy was a tough woman but always loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that will be missed by all that knew her. She loved her family fiercely and always had her "bubble" around them to make sure they knew they were protected. Every one of them would request this of her at times they needed it during their lives.

Nancy is survived by her children, Joan (Bradley) Lesik of New Auburn, Jeffrey Anderl of Chippewa Falls, Jayne (Frank) Dulian of Chippewa Falls, Robert (Jayne) Anderl of Cadott, and Tom (Lisa) Anderl of Chaska, MN; grandchildren, Christopher (Kristin) Anderl, Michaela Anderl and Joy Anderl, JC Anderl and Travis Anderl, Kayla Dulian and Matthew Dulian, Rob Anderl and Mike (Shauna) Anderl, Amanda Anderl and Jessica Anderl; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Janet (Rod) Rubenzer-Pike of Chippewa Falls, Cindy (Fred) Rubenzer-Miller of Eau Claire, Lenny (Paula) Pope of Chippewa Falls and John (Liz) Pope of Eau Claire; daughter-in-law, Cindy Anderl of Chippewa Falls; step-daughter, Alese VandenHeuvel of Antigo; along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Redard; son, James Anderl; brother, Joseph Rubenzer; and an infant sister, Joyce.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 10, 2017, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 810 Pearl St, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729, with a visitation beginning at 9:00 AM at the church. Msgr. Michael Gorman will be officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 11.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Chippewa Falls Humane Association, 10501 County Hwy S, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729, or to HSHS Partners St. Joseph's Hospital, 2661 Co Hwy I. Chippewa Falls, WI 54729.
