Nancy Rothbauer

She was born February 9, 1950 in Chippewa Falls to Ardith (Norquist) and Kenneth Gorton. She graduated from McDonnell High School, attended UW-Eau Claire, and later studied accounting at Chippewa Valley Technical School. She worked for many years as an aide at the Northern Wisconsin Center for the Developmentally Disabled.

Survivors include her her mother, Ardith Gorton of Chippewa Falls; her siblings, Debbie Ritzinger of Poplar, Patty Virnig of Brookfield and David Gorton of Chippewa Falls; her children, Michael Rothbauer of Eau Claire; Michelle (Rubenzer) Asp of Superior; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Gorton.

A private service will be held at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls on Sunday, May 1.
