Neal David McIntyre, age 71 of Chippewa Falls, passed away at his home on Sunday, October 18, 2015. He was born in Chippewa Falls on November 10, 1943, to William and Dorothy (Bachman) McIntyre.

He graduated from Cornell High School with the class of 1961. He enlisted into the Navy and proudly served his country until his Honorable Discharge in 1964. Neal married Betty Vuk on June 14, 1969, in Milwaukee. He began his career working as a tool and dye maker at Phillips Plastics, now known as ITW, and later retired from Hutchinson Technology in Eau Claire.

Neal enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and was an avid Packers and Badgers fan. He was a kind and loving man that cherished his time spent with family and friends.

Neal is survived by his wife of 46 years, Betty; sons, Kenneth (Lisa) of Chippewa Falls and Bill (Paula) of Merrill; daughter, Julie (Christian) Engelhardt of Hilo, HI; grandchildren, Alina, Lucas, Wesley, Lydia and Audrey; sisters, Joan Felmlee of Jim Falls and Patricia McIntyre of Chippewa Falls; brother-in-law, Scott Dayment; along with his nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carrie Dayment; and brother-in-law, Bill Felmlee

A visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2015, at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, 44 E. Columbia Street, Chippewa Falls. The interment will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 26, 2015, at the Northern WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Spooner, WI. Pastor Aaron Sturgis will be officiating.

Memorials are preferredto Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Neal's name.
