Nelson, Dagney

Dagney Nelson, 103, of Eau Claire, died Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Syverson Nursing Home in Eau Claire.

She was born October 10, 1906 in Baldwin to Julia (Erickson) and Ludwig Nelson. She was raised in Baldwin.She then resided in Buffalo, N.Y., New York City and Cleveland, Ohio. She was employed by Pinkerton Security in Buffalo and then at the May Company Department Store from 1956 until she retired in 1970. She has resided in Eau Claire since that time.

Survivors include: two nieces, Judy (Jim) Pendergast of Mondovi, Sally (Willard) Olson of Idaho Falls, Idaho and several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; two brothers, Earl and Sam Nelson; three sisters, Swanhild Roselund, Millie Malone and Borghild Korn.
