Norma D. Amyotte, 81, of Eau Claire, formerly of Bruce, died Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Dove Healthcare in Eau Claire.
She was born January 4, 1931 in Chippewa Falls to Ruth (Wolfe) and Ernest Perrenoud. She was raised in Chippewa Falls and graduated from Chippewa Falls High School in 1947. She was employed at Finley Insurance, Lang Grocery, Roberts Wholesale and Minnesota Woolen.
Norma married Amos J. Amoytte on May 29, 1959 in Chippewa Falls. They resided in Eau Claire and Norma worked at Chuck's Union Grocery. In 1973, the couple moved to Amacoy Lake, Rusk County, where they made many wonderful memories together and Norma tended to her beautiful gardens.
Survivors include: two nieces, Gloria Jean Perrenoud, Roxanne (Glenn) Baldeshwiler, all of Chippewa Falls; special friends and neighbors, Jim and Sandy Rassbach of Bruce; and her beloved dog, Frosty.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband, Amos on January 9, 1999; a brother, Charles "Charlie" Perrenoud and a sister-in-law, Marge Perrenoud.
Visitation will be from 10:30 - 11 a.m., Monday, January 30 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa with a graveside service to follow at Prairie View Cemetery in the village of Lake Hallie. The Rev. Robert Hoekstra will officiate.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to Norma's dear friends, Jim and Sandy Rassbach for their care to Norma over the years. Thank you.
