RuthAnn Oberg 77, of Chippewa Falls, died peacefully, surrounded by love, at her home under the care of her daughter and HSHS St. Joseph's Hospice on Saturday, June 24, 2017.

RuthAnn was born on May 9, 1940 to Henry and Christina (Sandvick) Bleskachek in Chippewa Falls.

She had a beautiful, adventurous spirit who loved to laugh, dance (notably to Elvis), travel, drink an ice cold beer, and truly treasured spending time with her friends, and especially her large amazing fun-loving family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

RuthAnn was employed by Chippewa Shoe until the factory closed, later was employed by Cray Research, which changed to Honeywell until she retired.

RuthAnn is survived by her daughter, Angie Hedrington of Fargo; grandson, Anthony Hedrington of Fargo; her "Rock" little sister, Betty (Bob) Liedholdt of Chippewa Falls; brothers, Tom (Mavis) Bleskachek of Chippewa Falls, Ron (Pat) Bleskachek of Chippewa Falls, Bob (Pam) of Elk Mound and Jerry Bleskachek of PA; sister-in-law, Jeanne Bleskachek of MN; many cousins, nieces and nephews who she loved dearly and they loved her.

She was preceded in death by her son, Wayne, who left us too soon; brother, Richard; her parents; and many dear friendsall were there to greet her as she returned home!

A visitation will be on Thursday, June 29, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, 44 E. Columbia Street, Chippewa Falls, with a public Prayer Service beginning at 5:45, followed by a time of reflection. Fr. John Schultz will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the family.
