Ollie W. Sones Jr., 62, of 36 W. River St., Chippewa Falls, died Sunday, July 29, 2012 at his residence.

He was born October 23, 1949 in Indiana, where he was raised.

Ollie married Marian West Saxby and they resided in Sheldon. She preceded him in death on July 19, 1998 and he has resided in the Shoe Factory Apartments in Chippewa Falls since 2002.

He is survived by special friends, Julie Meier, Rhonda and Michael Bichner, Kathy Lee, Monroe, his wife's family and many other friends who knew and loved him and lovingly called him "Grandpa."

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son; his sister, Rose and brother, Edward.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 4 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jim Woldhuis of Chippewa Valley Bible Church officiating. Burial will be in Eagleton Cemetery, town of Eagle Point.
