Pauline M. Hayes

Pauline “Tutti” Margaret (Bowe) Hayes, 72, of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on February 4, 2025. She was born February 25, 1952 to the late Donald M. and Glenna M. (Oliver) Bowe in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.

She was a 1970 graduate of Mc Donell's Central High School in Chippewa Falls, then went on to attend Rochester School of Practical Nursing in Rochester, Minnesota, graduating with an LPN degree. Throughout her nursing career, she worked in a variety of specialties at Luther (Mayo) Hospital in Eau Claire, WI, nursing homes, and the Alzheimer's unit at Chippewa Manor in Chippewa Falls, WI.

Pauline married Robert (Bob) Hayes on January 6, 1973. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved and cherished her family. She also loved the word of God. She was an avid scripture reader, and made sure to be in God's word every day. Pauline was avidly involved in her church over the years. She loved to teach and share the word of God, and frequently led Bible studies in her home. Her faith was her foundation. She lived everyday with the assurance of God's grace and love.

Pauline was an amazing cook and baker. She loved hosting cookouts, family gatherings, and celebrating holidays. She always made way too much food .... So those attending never left hungry! She had a knack for welcoming others with her hospitality and had a gift of bringing people together. She was always willing to lend a hand for those in need, a.k.a. "The Hayes Hotel".

Pauline was very creative, and loved crafting. She made beautiful wreaths, unique tea pot birdhouses, and whimsical garden decor. She loved plants and flowers, and going to garden centers, especially Klinger's Farm Market.

Additionally, she LOVED to shop, and took great pride in her style! She was a big fan of TJ Max, Home Goods, and Amazon. She also loved a good craft fair and road trips to local boutiques. Pauline “Tutti” will be sadly missed by her innumerable family and friends.

Pauline is survived by her beloved husband, Robert (Bob) Hayes; they recently celebrated 52 years of marriage. She is also survived by their children: Nikki Hayes, Naomi Hayes (Suzanne Linton), Natalie (Ryan) Galetka and Brandon Hayes; as well as her treasured grandchildren, Hannah Loga, Seth Loga, Nathan Helland and Leon Hayes. Pauline was extremely committed to her grandchildren. She was their greatest cheerleader and a source of unconditional love. She is also survived by her 4 loving sisters: Jerianne Bowe, Anita (David) Wasserburger, Marilyn (Craig) Swoboda, and Catherine (Randy) Feuling. As well as many wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and others whom were "like family" to Pauline. She was beloved by all.
