On Saturday June 15, 2013 Pauline Polly Sharp, age 95, of 750 Marilyn St., Chippewa Falls, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus.

Polly was a long time resident of Chippewa Falls.

She was born Aug 7, 1917 in Anoka, MN to Blenda (Henrikson) and Ben Daugherty. She attended the Crooked Brook Grade School and Anoka, MN High School. She received her LP Nursing license in Lee County, Florida in 1971.

Polly was united in marriage to Clifford Sharp on October 30, 1937 at Alderidge Ave Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis.

Her great joys in life were her family, working with children in AWANA Clubs, sketching, painting, and teaching art. At age 94 she wrote, illustrated, and published a childrens book. She touched and blessed many lives in her 95 years.

Polly is survived by her three children, Roger (Elaine) Sharp of Holcombe, Merlyn Anthony of Oregon House, CA and Allan (Anita) Sharp of Chippewa Falls; sisters, Ione Dumas, Theda Lande, and Mavis Guelker, six grandchildren, 17 great- grandchildren; six great- great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clifford on April 25, 1992; two brothers, Lloyd Daugherty and Dennis Daugherty; four sisters, Lois French, Norma Stone, Carol Hovern and Ruby Martin and one granddaughter, Kim Heidtke.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 19 at Crossroads Church, 209 W. South Ave., Chippewa Falls with Pastor Bob Stevens of Bridgewater Baptist Church and Pastor Wade Duroe of Crossroads Church officiating. Burial will be in Prairie View Cemetery, village of Lake Hallie.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls and Wednesday at the church one hour prior to the service.

AFTERSERVICE:

A funeral service for Pauline M. Polly Sharp, was held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 19 at Crossroads Church in Chippewa Falls. Pastor Wade Duroe of Crossroads Church and Pastor Bob Stevens of Bridgewater Baptist Church officiated and music was provided by pianist, Maddaline Stevens and vocalist Toni Buckman. Interment was in Prairie View Cemetery, village of Lake Hallie.
