Peggy DePriest

Peggy J. DePriest, 84, of 420 W. Grand Ave., Chippewa Falls, died Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at her residence.

She was born May 13, 1926 in the town of Anson, to Florence (Barquist) and John Dimmick. She was raised in the town of Anson and attended Eagle School. She graduated from Chippewa Falls High School in 1944.

She was employed for Wisconsin Bell for seven years working in Chippewa Falls, Rice Lake and then in Milwaukee.

Peggy married William I. DePriest on December 15, 1951 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Chippewa Falls. They resided in Milwaukee, where she worked at Master Lock for 27 years, retiring in March 1980. They resided in Brillion, Wis. from 1980-1995. She moved back to Chippewa Falls in April 1995 after the death of her husband.
