Perry W. Churchwell, 59, of Chippewa Falls, died Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Wissota Health Reflections and with the added care of St. Joseph's Hospice.

He was born November 13, 1952 in Bangor, WI to Lois (Olson) and William Churchwell. He grew up in Bangor and attended school there.

Following high school, Perry enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in 1971. After his discharge, Perry worked for the Milwaukee Railroad, then for Northern Engraving in Sparta for 11 years. He then continued his education at the West Wisconsin Technical College, where he graduated with a degree in surgical technology and went to work at Victory Medical Center in Stanley, later he worked at Reliant Rehab in Eau Claire. He then had various manufacturing jobs; Midwest and Owen Manufacturing, LaGrander's Cheese Co., Abbyland Meats, Hutchinson Technology and most recently at TTM Technologies in Chippewa Falls.

Perry married Linda Arnold (Vieregge) on February 14, 1989 in Sparta. They moved to Chippewa Falls in October 2004.

Survivors include his devoted wife, Linda of Chippewa Falls; step sons Aaron (Shari) Arnold of Sparta, Justin (Jodie) Arnold, Lukas (Jessica) Arnold, all of Chippewa Falls, step daughter Kelly Angelini (Tony) of Sparta; sisters, Mary Churchwell of Janesville, Norine (Theron) Perry of Shakopee, MN; brothers, Dennis (Kim) Churchwell of Shawano, Jeffrey (Linda) Churchwell of Elkhorn, Tom Churchwell of Bangor; a sister-in-law, Vicki Churchwell of Janesville; 11 grandchildren, Shelby, Jonah, Erika, Josh, Macauley, Anna Maria, Luigino, Mario, Amelia, Jack and Clark; three great-grandchildren, Carter, Angelina and Dominic;also his beloved pets, Kody, Max and Harley-Davidson; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, David Churchwell.

Perry had many interests, was a genuine person and always helped those in need. He was an avid Packers fan, enjoyed woodworking, drawing and motorcycles. He liked listening to music and loved animals of all kinds. His greatest loves were his family, friends and Jesus, who gave him Eternal life.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, July 9, at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls with the Pastor Randy VanDeLoo, officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral chapel.

AFTERSERVICE

A funeral service for Perry W. Churchwell, 59, of Chippewa Falls was held at 11 a.m., Monday, July 9, 2012 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel in Chippewa Falls. Pastor Randy VanDeLoo officiated and music was provided by step-sons, Aaron and Justin Arnold. Several family members shared personal reflections. Interment was in Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.
