Phillip S. Loiselle, 64, of Cadott, town of Sigel, died Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

He was born in Chippewa Falls on December 22, 1949 to Virginia (Wolfe) and Dale Loiselle. He grew up in Chippewa Falls and graduated from Chi-Hi in 1969.

He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served honorably from March 1970 September 1971. He also served his country in the Reserves from 1968 1975.

Following his military service, Phil worked as a power plant operator at the Northern Center for many years, until his retirement in 2005.

On September 9, 2004, Phil married Toni Frerking. They resided in the town of Sigel since their marriage. He enjoyed woodworking projects, camping with his family, lawn work, going to auctions and his pets.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Toni Frerking of Cadott; his daughters, Jill (Mike) Trimbo of Fridley, MN, Jennifer (Kerry) Hagen of Chippewa Falls; stepson, Nathan (Leah) Much of Chippewa Falls; grandchildren, Kyrsten Twiggy Snyder, Michael, Mitchell and Matthew Hagen; step-grandchildren, Luke and Aaron Much; father and mother-in-law, Donald and Kathleen Frerking; his dog, Baby Huey; his cat, Benny; many aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, February 7 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls with Msgr. Mark Pierce of Notre Dame Catholic Church, officiating. Military honors provided by the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council will immediately follow the service. Spring interment will be in Prairie View Cemetery, Village of Lake Hallie.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, February 6 and one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral chapel.
