Rebecca Balts

Rebecca Ann "Becky" Balts, 65, of Eau Claire, formerly of Everett, Pennsylvania, went to be home with her Lord on August 10, 2011 with her devoted husband by her side.

She was born March 5, 1946 in Magodore, Ohio to Ethel (Skinner) and Herman Aikey.

Becky married Charles W. Balts on August 28, 1972 in Cumberlan, Maryland.

She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in the Village of Lake Hallie. Becky's infectious laugh and zest for life will be remembered by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Balts; her daughter, Elizabeth (Robert) Folchetti; sons, Mark (Gina) Tew, Mike (Lon) Tew; six grandchildren, four grandsons, and two granddaughters.

She was predeceased by her parents; and two brothers, Robert and Walter Aikey.

A memorial service in Becky's honor will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 20 at Grace Baptist Church in the Village of Lake Hallie with Pastors Bruce Schmidt and Brian Jahn officiating.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.

Private interment will be held at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in Spooner.
