Richard Hedrington

Richard Edward Hedrington "Dickey Doo, " 66, of 17074 54th Ave., Chippewa Falls, town of Lafayette, was suddenly called home to God on Saturday, March 12, 2011 in his new home of Fort Myers, FL.

Richard was born May 31, 1944 in Chippewa Falls to Elaine (Viets) and Eugene Hedrington where he was raised. He entered the US Navy on April 12, 1963 and after serving and seeing the world in the Navy he was honorably discharged on April 7, 1967. He then returned to Chippewa Falls to raise his family with his beloved wife Barbara Lynn, with whom he eloped on February 19, 1966. His legacy survives in his children Jason Eugene and Jennifer Lynn.

Richard dedicated his life to his family via hard work as a steelworker, and after decades as a foreman for Brown Minneapolis Tank he branched off with trusted co-workers to start their own fabrication company, Brown Tank. He retired well-traveled in 2009.
