Richard Smith

Richard C. Smith, 83, of Chippewa Falls, died peacefully at home, under the care of St. Joseph’s Hospice on Wednesday, October 7, 2020.

Richard was born to Rexford & Frances (Rayman) Smith on November 28, 1936, in Chippewa Falls.

After high school, he worked for Markquart Farms until his retirement.

Richard enjoyed fishing and playing cards with friends and family. He was an avid Packer fan and was a loving and caring uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

Richard is survived by his seven siblings, Bernice Parson, Doris Fritz, Roberta Eliason, Roy (Joyce) Smith, Charles (Debbie) Smith, Larry (Debbie) Smith, and Gary Smith; brother-in-law, Robert Liddell; along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Clarence Smith; sisters, Carol Norsten and Arlene Liddell; and brother-in-law, Paul Parson.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 in Bateman Cemetery in the town of Lafayette, Chippewa County, WI.
