Richard H. Dick Zimmerman, 73, of Chippewa Falls, died Sunday, April 27, 2014 at St. Josephs Hospital, Chippewa Falls.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine (nee Mahr); two daughters, Sara (Mickey) Modl of Chippewa Falls, Stacie Brown (Russ J.R. Younger) of Eau Claire; five sisters; two brothers, 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 1 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls with Rev. Philip Pitt of Our Hope Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls with military honors conducted by the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral chapel.

AFTERSERVICE

A funeral service for Richard H. Zimmerman, 73, of Chippewa Falls was held at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 1 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls. Pastor Philip Pitt of Our Hope Lutheran Church officiated and music was provided by Sharon Pitt. Interment with military honors conducted by the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council was at Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls and Thomas Eder Jr. bugled taps.
