Robert D. Begley, 78, of Chippewa Falls died Friday, February 20, 2015 at home while under the care of St. Joseph's Hospice.
He was born February 28, 1936 to Pauline (Introwitz) and Russell Begley.
Robert served honorably in the U.S. Navy.
Robert married Arlene Schneider on February 11 and had 52 years together. They resided in Chippewa Falls, where Robert worked as a truck driver for Indianhead Trucking until his retirement in 1993.
He enjoyed going to the casino and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He will be dearly missed by his two daughters, Cindy (Tom Brown) Kuba, Linda (Ricky) Roycraft; two sons, Mike (Mary) Begley, Scott (Lori) Begley all of Chippewa Falls; brothers, Dick (Janet) Begley, Duane (Sharon) Beauchaine, all of Chippewa Falls; eight grandchildren, Nikki (Steve) Wickersham, Kara (Jeff) Goossens, Kelly (Kyle) Thompson, Brian Begley, Adam Kuba, Katie Begley, Danielle Begley, Jon Begley all of Chippewa Falls; five great-grandchildren, Savannah and Emily Wickersham, Tabrett and Ruby Goossens, and Dylan Thompson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Arlene on May 8, 2010.
As per Robert's wishes, an open house in his honor will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, February 28 (Robert's 79th birthday) at the Fill-Inn Station Restaurant, 104 W.Columbia St., Chippewa Falls.
