Robert Yauch

Robert A. Yauch, 87, of Chippewa Falls died Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at his home.

Robert was born November 11, 1930 at Kennan, WI, the son of August and Anna (Arndt) Yauch. He attended elementary school at a one-room school in Georgetown, WI. He graduated from Phillips High School in Phillips, WI in 1948.

Robert served in the U.S. Army from 1948 until his honorable discharge in 1952.

On September 28, 1957, he was united in marriage with Lucille Tews at Zion Lutheran Church in Kennan, where they both were members since birth. Robert and Lucille raised a family and operated a dairy farm in the town of Harmony, Price County, WI until retirement. They moved to Chippewa Falls in 2004 where they became members of Faith Lutheran Church.

He will be dearly missed by his wife of 60 years, Lucille; two daughters, Kathryn (Robert) Evered of Superior, and Joan (Dennis) Voigt of Altoona; a son, James (Charlene) Yauch of Brookfield; and a sister, Barbara Madden of Rogers, MN; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister; and his brother-in-law, John Madden.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, December 4 at Faith Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls with the Rev. Charles Yunghans officiating. Military honors conducted by the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council will follow the service at the church. Interment will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, December 5 at Kennan Cemetery in Kennan, WI.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.
