Roberta M. "Bobbi" Elbert, 79, of Chippewa Falls, town of Lafayette, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Bloomer.

She was born February 28, 1933 in Detroit, MI to Ida (Gageby) and Earl Maxwell.

Bobbi married Thomas J. Elbert on February 26, 1955 in Eau Claire.

Survivors include her husband, Tom Elbert of Chippewa Falls; a daughter, Cheri R. (Bradley) Bourget of Cadott; two sons, David J. (Marian) Elbert of Cadott, Steven A. (Lynn) Elbert of Chippewa Falls; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service celebrating Bobbi's life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Cadott United Methodist Church with the Rev. Marvel Juve, officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Bateman Cemetery, town of Lafayette.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.

AFTERSERVICE:

A memorial service for Roberta M. "Bobbi" Elbert, 79, of Chippewa Falls, town of Lafayette, was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Cadott United Methodist Church. The Revs. Marvel Juve and John Hazen officiated and music was provided by organist, Dorothy Peters and vocalists, Deb and Beth Dresel, and Sarah Bourget. Interment will be at a later date in Bateman Cemetery, town of Lafayette.

During the service, grandson, Josh Bourget gave personal reflections and daughter, Cheri Bourget gave a tribute to her mother. Honorary bearers were grandchildren, Josh Bourget, Whitney Haeny, Chayne Bourget, Tom Elbert, Ben Elbert, Andrew Elbert, Jacob Elbert, Zachary Elbert, Phillip Kesling and J. Scott Kesling.
