Roberta C. "Bobbi" Harrison, 71, of Chippewa Falls, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the Chippewa Manor in Chippewa Falls. God welcomed her home after she fought the good fight.

She was born February 5, 1943 in Minneapolis to Arlene (Johansen) and Robert Soelberg. She graduated from Edina High School in 1961. Bobbi continued her education at the University of MN, graduating with an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts.

Bobbi married Larry E. Harrison on September 14, 1968 in Minneapolis, where Bobbi raised their two children and made their home. While living in Minneapolis, they were members of Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church and Crystal Ev. Free Church in New Hope. Bobbi proudly spent over 25 years as a leader and trainer for the Girl Scouts. She also enjoyed photography, cooking, collecting rocks and driftwood, and visiting lighthouses. Her most precious moments were spent with family, especially her grandchildren.

Following Larry's retirement, they moved to Silver Bay, MN where they could enjoy the north shore of Lake Superior. It is also where they loved to spend time in their motorhome each fall.

In 2008, they moved to Chippewa Falls to be near family.

Survivors include her daughter, Laura (Willy) Wendler of Chippewa Falls; son, Brian (Lori) Harrison of Rochester, MN; four grandchildren, Kristina (fianc Matt Hoffman) Wendler, John Wendler, Rylan and Anna Harrison; sister-in-law, Gwen (Ken) Nelson of Alexandria, MN; nephew, Jim Nelson; and niece, Missy Nelson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Larry on April 16, 2014.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, May 19 at the Chapel of the Resurrection at the Chippewa Manor with Rev. Robert Hoekstra officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Osakis, MN.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Monday at the Chapel of the Resurrection.

AFTERSERVICE

A memorial service for Roberta C. "Bobbi" Harrison, 71, of Chippewa Falls was held at 2 p.m., Monday, May 19 at the Chapel of the Resurrection at the Chippewa Manor. The Rev. Robert Hoekstra officiated and music was provided by Judy Brist. Interment will be at a later date in Osakis, Minnesota.
