Jack Rubendall, 72, of Chippewa Falls, died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, December 27, 2016.

Jack was born on December 28, 1943 in Alamosa, CO to Arnold and Marie (Jansen) Rubendall. He attended school in Clarion, IA, where he lettered in wrestling 3 years at Clarion High School, graduating in 1962.

After graduation, Jack enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving 4 years before enrolling Iowa State University where he completed a Bachelor's degree in Science and Technology.

Jack married Diana Espenhover in 1966, and fathered three children, Jacki, Darren, and Justine, and enjoyed a distinguished career in supply chain management for 30 years at 3M, retiring in December of 2002.

In 1984 Jack married his high school sweetheart, Kay Piper, who was his loving companion.

Jack was a talented woodworker, and an impressive gardener. He also enjoyed researching his geneology, golf, and downhill skiing in his youth. In retirement Jack enjoyed volunteering his time with the local Lions and Elks Clubs. He is survived by his wife, Kay, of Jim Falls, children, Jacki (Todd) Bruchert of Eau Claire, Darren (Betsy) Rubendall of Omaha, NE and Justine (Brian) Zirbes of Crystal, MN, step-children Kim (Marty) Macica of Schulylerville, NY and Kris (Jodi) Connors of Clinton, CT, brother Gary (Gloria) Rubendall of Burleson TX, and 16 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Marie.

Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday December 30 at Pederson-Volker funeral home in Chippewa Falls. Memorial service immediately following at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Aaron Sturgis officiating. Memorial luncheon to follow at Fill in Station Noon-2:00 p.m.
