Sandra L. Campbell, 69, of Chippewa Falls, died unexpectedly on Monday, May 19, 2014 at her home.

She was born March 14, 1945 in Boyd to Clara (Melville) and William Walters.

Sandy grew up on her family's farm in Boyd. Following high school, she went to cosmetology school in Eau Claire.

On April 8, 1967, she married Jerry Campbell at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Chippewa Falls. They resided in Hallie and Sandy worked as a beautician at Hair Designers in Chippewa Falls for many years.

She was currently employed in the custodial department for the Chippewa Falls School System, where she has enjoyed working and making friends for the past several years.

Sandy's love for all animals made her a well suited volunteer at the ChippewaCounty Human Association. Over the years, she adopted several pets from family and friendswho had passed away and provided them with anewplace to call home.

She will be dearly missed by her sons, Dan (Carla)of Cambridge; Joe of Chippewa Falls; her granddaughters, of whom she was so proud, Sarah and Megan of Cambridge; sisters, Janice (Rollie) Seidl, Colleen "Lillian" Ebben, Audrey (William) Schemenauer, Karen Lewallen; sisters-in-law, Bonnie (Bill) Rothbauer, Chris Campbell; brothers-in-law, Chuck (Darlene) Campbell; Jeff Smiskey; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her feline companion, Whisper.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry on March 8, 2011; sisters, BeverlyKierein and Pauline Barquist; brothers, Donald in infancy, William "Carvel", John "Fuzzy", James "Patrick" and Tom Walters; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Ebben, Jack Lewallen, Richard Barquist, John Campbell; sisters-in-law, Ruth Smiskey , Cleora Walters .

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 24 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls with Fr. Victor Inbaraj officiating. Interment will follow at Prairie View Cemetery, Village of Lake Hallie.

Visitation will be from 4 -7 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated and may go to the Chippewa Valley Humane Association.

AFTERSERVICE

A funeral service for Sandra L. Campbell, 69, of Chippewa Falls was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 24 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls. Fr. Victor Inbaraj of Holy Ghost Church officiated and music was provided by Judy Brist. Personal reflections were shared by granddaughters, Sarah and Megan Campbell. Interment was in Prairie View Cemetery, village of Lake Hallie. Casket bearers were Daniel and Joseph Campbell, Robert Seidl, William "Butch" Robinson, John Schunk and Gary Krizan.
