Sharon Nyhus

Sharon Ilene "Shari" Nyhus, 69, of Chippewa Falls died Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the Bloomer Medical Center in Bloomer after a brief battle with cancer.

She was born December 10, 1940, the daughter of Savrina (Flackey) and Arthur Nyhus.

Survivors include siblings, Lorraine Denning, Duane (Millie) Nyhus, Eldred (Vi) Nyhus, Wanda (Robert) LeCleir, Rogene (James) Cardinal, Ron (Jan) Nyhus, all of the Chippewa Falls area; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Merne and Harlan; a brother-in-law, Gerald Denning; and sisters-in-law, Kathryn Bischel and Beverly Nyhus.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 24 at Our Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church, Chippewa Falls with the Rev. Philip Pitt officiating.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
