Sharon Mae Bathke Petska, 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 5th, 2024. She was born October 21st, 1945, in Walworth, WI to Charles Hill and Doris (Hill) Mueller. She was the second of seven siblings.
Sharon made a home in Tilden, WI when she moved to the Chippewa area in 1971. Sharon owned and operated the Four Corners in Eagle Point from 1981 to 2008 with family and made numerous friends over the years. Her favorite pastime was of course playing cards, she played in tournaments with friends and family.
Sharon is survived by her sons, Darrel Bathke, Dwayne (Kathy) Bathke from Chippewa Falls; and her daughter, Rosemary Thalacker; her stepsons, Randy (Carrie) Petska, and Brian (Lori) Petska; and stepdaughter, Debbie Petska. Sharon is also survived by her sisters, Rose Mary Seim, Randi Jean Lundell, and Susan (Sam) Haning; her brothers, Jack Hill, and Don (Ann) Mueller. Plus, Sharon has many Grandchildren, and Great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Darrel Bathke Sr.; her son, Devin Bathke; sisters, Laura Nauman, Carol Zimmerman, brother Richard Hill and Scott Mueller.
There will be a celebration of life in the spring, and it will be posted in the paper later.
