Shirley A. Wells, 68, of Withee, died Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Mayo Clinic Health System-Eau Claire.

She was born December 15, 1948 in Linn, Mo. to Jerry and Mabel Nilges. In May of 1965 she married Henry Wells in Union, Mo.

She was a loving wife and devoted mother and grandmother.

Shirley is survived by her children, Murl (Jim) Wells of Baton Rouge, La., Jerry (Dee) Wells of Withee, Sam (Jamie) Wells of Duplessis, La., Mabel (Jon) Harms of Owen, Melissa (Faron) Jeffery of St. Clair, Mo., and Leonard (Paula) Wells of St. Clair, Mo.; grandchildren, Bill, Jerry, Rachel, Kenny, Sammy, Gary, Pearly Kate, Henry, Crystal, Brooke, Brittney, Paul Henry, Roman, Izabella and Ireland; sister, Robyn Seat of Tahlequah, Okla.; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Mabel Nilges; husband, Henry; grandson, Judah Harms; sisters, Geraldine Nilges and Vickie Robertson; and brother, Garry Nilges.

A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m., Monday, February 20, at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls with Rev. Bruce Frederickson officiating. Interment will be at Prairie View Cemetery, village of Lake Hallie.

Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Sunday, February 19, at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls with a Prayer Service at 6 p.m. led by Jason Snapp. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the service Monday.
