Suzanne M. Stubb, 59, of Chippewa Falls, died at her home Friday, April 3, 2015 surrounded by her loving family and while under the care of Mayo Clinic Hospice.

She was born on August 27, 1955 in Chippewa Falls to Leola Beth (Shackleton) and Leon Smith.She graduated from Chi-Hi in 1974.On August 22, 1987, she married David Stubb. Suzanne was the Activities Assistant at the American Lutheran Home in Menomonie from 1999 to 2007. In recent years she worked as the coordinator for the First Presbyterian food pantry, proudly volunteering her time there. She believed in helping others and always saw the good in everyone.Suzanne loved going to the movies and spoiled her grandchildren at every opportunity.

She is survived by her husband David of Chippewa Falls; her son, Jeremy of Menomonie; her daughter, Sammiejo (Arjen) van Dijk of Eau Claire; a brother, Tom Smith of Chippewa Falls; two sisters, Ann Isika of Denver, CO andCheryl (Charles) Hoepner of Boise, ID; and three grandchildren: Violet Miller, Kiera Stubb and James van Dijk.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at11 a.m., Saturday, April 18at First Presbyterian Church in Chippewa Falls with the Rev. Dr. Karel Hanhart officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Cornell Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from9:30 a.m.until the time of serviceSaturdayat the church.

Memorial donations in Suzanne's honor are greatly appreciated by her family and may be made tothe First Presbyterian Church Food Pantry.

AFTERSERVICE:

A memorial service for Suzanne M. Stubb, 59, of Tilden, was held on Saturday, April 18at First Presbyterian Church in Chippewa Falls. The Rev. Dr. Karel Hanhart officiated and music was provided by Barbara Sandford. Burial will be at a later date in Cornell Cemetery.
