Theodore McClelland

Theodore S. McClelland, 79, of Chippewa Falls, died on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Mayo Clinic Health System, in Eau Claire.

Ted was born on April 23, 1938 to Dewey and Jewel (Brophy) McClelland in Muncie, IN. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a degree in Accounting. Ted married Barbara Jenneman on August 11th, 1978 in Chippewa Falls, WI.

He was an avid bowler and golfer in his day. He also especially enjoyed Badger football and basketball, and of course, the Packers on Sunday. He delighted in spending time playing cards and visiting with his friends and family. Most of all he loved watching his grandchildren in their various activities and performances. He was also a long time member of the Chippewa Falls Lions Club.

Ted is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Zachary (Heidi) McClelland of Middleton, WI, Cheryl (Tom) Keegan of Chippewa Falls, Jodeen Ritzinger of Elgin, MN, Sharon Bluemn of Chippewa Falls, and daughter-in-law, Dana McClelland of Madison, WI; grandchildren, Owen & Quinn McClelland, Kyle, Kelsey & Kendall Keegan, Nicole (Mark) Sier, Haley Bluemn, Bobbi Jo (Josh) Neumann, Amanda (Simon) Farrell, and Brian Ritzinger; 8 great-grandchildren; and brother, Clifford (Charlotte) McClelland.

Ted was preceded in death by his son, Steve; and son-in-law, Mark Bluemn.

The memorial service will be at 3 p.m. on Monday, December 18, at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, 44 E. Columbia Street, Chippewa Falls, with a visitation beginning at 1 p.m. Rev. Robert B. Hoekstra will be officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council following the funeral service at the chapel.
