Troy D. Zwiefelhofer, 37, of Chippewa Falls, town of Wheaton, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012 due to heart failure.
He was born March 20, 1975 in Eau Claire to Darrell and Joyce (Sweeney) Zwiefelhofer.
Troy graduated from Chippewa Falls High School in 1993 and worked briefly at Farm & Fleet. He had been employed at Ambassador Steel in Menomonie for the past 18 years.
He enjoyed music, documentaries, concerts, impersonators and spending time with his friends and nephews.
Troy is survived by: his mother, Joyce of Chippewa Falls; sister, Jennifer (Edwin) Dunham; nephews, Owen, Ethan and Aiden Dunham, all of Strum; aunts and uncles, Alice Zwiefelhofer, Carol Mueller, Thomas Goettl, all of Chippewa Falls, Irvin Sweeney of Jim Falls; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Darrell; paternal grandparents, John and Leona Zwiefelhofer, maternal grandparents, Donald and Ruby Sweeney; aunts, Ver Jean Goettl, and Margaret Zwiefelhofer; uncles, Keith Mueller, Dorlan Zwiefelhofer and Jerome "Crackers" Zwiefelhofer.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 24 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls with the Rev. Terri Koca of Trinity United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral chapel.
AFTERSERVICE:
A funeral service for Troy D. Zwiefelhofer, 37, of Chippewa Falls, town of Wheaton, was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls. The Rev. Terri Koca officiated and music was provided by organist, Judy Brist and vocalist, Carl Cronquest. Several of Troy's friends shared personal reflections.
Interment was in Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls. Casket bearers were: Joe and Chuck Goettl, Dennis, Lee and Tim Zwiefelhofer, Bryan and Brent Mueller, Regan and Kevin Sweeney.
