Vicki L. James, 65, of Eau Claire, died Friday, August 14, 2015 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

She was born February 14, 1950 in Eau Claire, the daughter of Betty (Kasten) and Walter F. James. She attended Chippewa Falls High School, then went to work for Uniroyal until the business closed. Vicki went back to school, earning an Associates Degree in Business Management and Marketing from CVTC. She then worked for Hutchinson Technology in Eau Claire.

Vicki loved her family dearly and enjoyed time spent with each grandchild. Every week, she and her family would go out for Friday night dinnersa tradition that will always be cherished.

She will be dearly missed by her two daughters, Stacey Davis, Angel (David) Olson, all of Eau Claire; her mother, Betty James of Chippewa Falls; a brother, Craig James of Eau Claire; five granddaughters, Kim (Christian) Boyd, Tori Joyce, Kylea Davis, Emily and Sara Olson; and one great-grandson, Layton Boyd.

She was preceded in death by her father, Walter James.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, August 19 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls. Burial will be held at a later date at Prairie View Cemetery, village of Lake Hallie.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel.
