Wayne E. Germain, 69, of Chippewa Falls, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at his home. Wayne was born September 13, 1946 in Chippewa Falls, the son of Edward and Evelyn (Tanzer) Germain. Wayne graduated from McDonell High School in 1964, and from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Science-Electrical Engineering degree in 1969.

On June 5, 1971, Wayne married Diana Wambold in Eagle, Wisconsin.

Wayne owned and operated his own electrical contracting business, Design Electric, for 30 years.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Diana; three daughters, Sarah (Richard) Kopitzke of Marshfield, Teresa Germain of Chippewa Falls, and Jessica (David) DeVito of Madison; five grandchildren, Emerson and Matthew Kopitzke, Andrew, Elsa and Cameron DeVito.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents.

A private family service is planned. Interment will be at Hope Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.
