William S. Hansen

William S. “Bill” Hansen, 84, of Chippewa Falls, died Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the WI Veterans Home of Chippewa Falls while under the care of St. Croix Hospice.

He was born March 17, 1939, in Chippewa Falls to Orville and Gladys (Walker) Hansen.

On September 7, 1963, he married Beverly Martell at Holy Ghost Church in Chippewa Falls. 

He worked at F & F Shoe Factory for over 30 years, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, feeding and watching the birds, and spending time with his family and friends. 

Bill is survived by his sons, Willie (Hilma) Hansen of Cadott and Jim Hansen of Cornell; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jeannie Hansen of Eau Claire, Dean Hansen of Chippewa Falls, Arlien (Donnie) Kuba of Eau Claire, and Gary (Sheila) Hansen of Eau Claire; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beverly in 2014; brother, Orville Hansen; and infant brother, Clifford Hansen.

Visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m., Friday, February 9 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls.
