Willis K. Westrom, 87, of Chippewa Falls, died Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at HSHS Sacred Heart in Eau Claire.

Willis was born on July 28, 1928 in Grantsburg, Wisconsin to Maggie and Alick Westrom. He married Ruth Eleanor Olson on November 15, 1946. They lived in Chippewa Falls for 57 years. He worked at Mason Shoes for 39 years, 4 months & 10 days. In 1990 he retired and lived in Chippewa Falls until 2003, then moved to Chetek until September 2, 2013 and then back to Chippewa Falls where he spent the last years of his life. He was a True Blue Packer Fan, enjoyed fishing, hunting and being with his family.

Willis is survived by his children, Kenneth (Judy Blazer), Gerald "Bud" (Patricia "My Guardian Angel"), Susan (Walleye Wilbur) Dove; grandchildren, Tom Westrom, Jon (Jill) Dove, Scott Dove, Christine (Tom) Pyka, Tricia (Scott) Kwick and Bill (Jennifer) Westrom; great-grandchildren, Brendan & Peyton Kwick, Joseph & Matthew Pyka, Evan & Kyle Dove, Brody, Caleb, Kinley & Brevin Westrom; several good friends, in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth, on July 9, 1995; parents, Maggie (Moan) and Alick; brothers, Milton (Inez) Westrom and Joseph (WWII); infant brother, Joseph; sister, Opal (Charles) Gleason; and granddaughter, Tammy Westrom.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, November 16 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, 44 E. Columbia St. with Rev. Robert Hoekstra officiating. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.

The family would like to thank Comforts of Home and the staff at Sacred Heart Hospital for all their loving care given to Willis.
